Why can't they make that annoying beeping sound microwaves make?
Esp when it's the heater thats used to prevent pipes from freezing that popped it.

I haven't salted at all this winter.
And I picked up some Sodium-Chloride (salt) so it wouldn't make my cats sick.
I hope I get to use it, I'd like to know if its worth the extra $$$..

I keed. I hate the salt thing too, but I do the absolute minimum so as not to be sued - I mean why should I bust myself when it'll melt in a couple weeks anyhow? Grow a set and learn to walk on a little ice ya babies!

Rock Salt - In the 21st century, we have not yet found a better way to melt snow? It gets all over my car and tracked all over my hardwood floors. Despise it.

Corporate Job Web sites - Whatever happened to just submitting my resume and cover letter? One of them had me fill out about a 100-question form before I could cut, paste and reformatted my resume in a box in order to apply for their job opening. Then they sent me an e-mail thanking me for applying and asked that I fill out another form. When that form was completed, I received another e-mail, thanking me for taking that step and it asks that I fill out three more forms. I think they already owe me several days' wage. I think I may revert back to mailing my resume so that is stands out better.
