They're both Axis II Cluster B disorders, and differential diagnosis is difficult, even when evaluating the subject in person. I prefer to think of Jed as a great big pile of shit.

Here's how I see the borderline/narcissistic personality disorder thing, Hoodoo----to me it's basically the same disorder. Females get diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and males with narcissistic personality disorder. Sure there are differences according to the DSM-IV TR but in essence, they look awfully alike at least in my opinion.

I see borderlines are being inconsistent from day to day in terms of their affect. Jed is your typical, garden variety asshole on a daily basis. Always grumpy but grandiose and self important. I love how he offers up his opinions as God's True Reality And Fact.

I don't disagree, MsCat, but I was actually leaning more toward Borderline. You're the professional...thoughts?

This is my second blog, the first one was on live journal, I maintain an account there because a friend uses that and it's the only way I get to keep in touch with them.
I used to have a webpage of my own. It was a review site for comics and movies of a nerdlinger nature, of course. I also ran a website for a friends band for a couple years. I let both accounts ( GoDaddy ) die off.

My blogs lately have been an educational series on how things were discovered. Pretty much totally made up with some historical fact thrown in here and there to make me look smart. I'm working on my tube socks entry. Though I know of only two people that read it and they're friends to begin with.

Used to have a web page that was like a blog. Lots of angry rants. Had it linked somewhere at some point and it was pretty much ignored for years and then one day, some Something Awful douchebags popped in and started vandalizing shit off it, getting into my unlinked image directories (how they found them to begin with, I don't know) and posting shit everywhere. That was the last time I ever read SA or posted in the forums. So I'm not all that sympathetic when someone cries "stalking" because certain IPs (and how does she know these IPs belong to specific people at RS anyway?) pop up in visitor statistics. Cry me a river, lady. Talk to me when your family...

I used to read addisen's blog, but this was before all the really wierd stuff started kicking in. I quit ages ago for the same reasons that LotP states. The constant woe is me combined with the overwraught theater talk and persecution complex, the schtick just got old. I do think she can write, but usually her best writing was autobiographical, at least that's what we were told, I don't know if it was all true, embellished or cut from whole cloth, but I did like it at the time.

I occasionally read Saras blog and have left the odd comment or two. While she writes a good blog, filled with typical bloggy things and way too much legalese, her views tend to be a wee bit to the left of mine. But, I don't feel the need to flame her or go after her on the boards just because she's of a different mind than I.

I have neglected my own blog for half a year now, I suppose I should get back on the horse, not that anyone really read it anyway.

Y'know, when we mention at the board that we're blogging and we link to other bloggers at RS, people are bound to follow the trail of breadcrumbs and find the blog eventually. If I got upset every time someone arrived at mine after following a link from an MBA board or a PM (both of which have happened numerous times), I'd be in a near constant state of hysterics. Or, perhaps she should consider that she's not attempting to do it incognito and she's putting the stuff out there on the internet so it's going to be found. She has a much weaker claim of drilling than someone who had public records searched for their real full name.

Downy doesn't really bother me either, though I can understand your reasons for being annoyed with her. I figure like Sara said, it's a slow process and I just haven't come to that point yet. Mostly I ignore her or don't read too much into her posts. Just take it with a grain of salt. Every once and a while there's a "wtf" kind of post, but believe me, some of the people I've known make Downy look positively normal. I guess I have a high threshold for nuttiness.

Addisen I had no problem with until her aforementioned taking something I said to someone else that had nothing to do with her personally and flaming me. Then I just ignored her where I could. Then there was that whole thing with schatt where she had a meltdown and I lost whatever respect I had for her. Lately, the more she freaks out about imagined slights, the more it starts to annoy me. So someone's reading her blog? This is stalking? And the pretentiousness does get to me...

I don't really have a beef against her, I have just come to find her behavior increasingly bizarre. Plus, her attempts to cozy up and warn me about who I could trust, etc. really struck me as suspect. I think she thrives on behind the scenes drama, and I just so don't.

Now Addisen I just flat out can't stand. But Downy has been a slowly acquired dislike. Mostly I enjoy laughing now at how easily she is mocked and provoked into doing more of the same. It is pretty funny to watch.

I've always felt that ST has wanted to get back into the "game" for quite awhile now and is a likely suspect. Hasn't JED claimed to have everyone on ignore? Perhaps that explains it ...

I am not completely convinced that addisen isn't crook.

As for downy ... I personally have nothing against downy as I know many of you do. I understand your reasons but she has yet to do anything to me. I don't believe it is downy mainly due to my feeling that she prefers and enjoys the spotlight. I don't see why she would create a ghostnic for the reason stated by the ghostnic itself.

I will say this for downy ... her threads do garner a great deal of posts.

Does she blow him while wearing men's clothes so as not to ruin it for him or something? I don't get it.

Also, she clearly falls under the old RS "we ban people who come here only to be mean (unless they felate (either literally or virtually) an admin) rule." So I'm assuming there is some sort of disgusting activity going on between those two. I just want to know which one gets to be the woman.

In an unrelated area (or is it?), why is someone hiding Tad's posts? I'm assuming it is Jed, mainly because Hobie seems to have no clue about it, and Jed is just the kind of scared little coward who would do that without saying.
