I talked to them during the static display before the parade started, and that bunch was pretty cool. They were, however, chatting up a couple of uniform
cops.
Their vehicle's license plate is POT 420. |

The peacock car had some sort of hydraulic arrangement that would raise & collapse the fan. When it unfurled speakers on the car played "Also Sprach
Zarathustra".
The car with the big, open mouth was the entry by the Houston Grand Opera. They guy in the mouth was a tenor singing operatic pieces while an assistant conductor and various staff dressed as Brunhilde skated around and handed out flyers. And I could swear that the chick driving the big star was topless by parade halfway point; must have been hot inside that vehicle. |

Wow you guys know how to have parades, I loved alot of those! I'd rather watch this parade on TV than the Rose parade.

Sadly, the driving force behind the Art Car Parade was killed just hours after the event.
