There's a new Cthulhu movie making the festival rounds this year. It probably will never see wide release but I'm sure we'll get a DVD soon if
it's not out already. Bunch of no name stars and Tori Spelling, BUT it actually looks pretty good. Of course, being a "modern" adaptation of
The Shadow Over Innsmouth, the main character is gay. The trailer doesn't look too bad as far as Lovecraftian movies go. I've seen worse. Much,
much, worse. They could have had Samuel L. Jackson in it.

They made other Lovecraft movies before?

Many many many movies. Unfortunately most of them have little besides their title to attest to that fact. This list includes movies that are based directly on stories written by Lovecraft.
This list contains movies that are not based on Lovecraft stories or ideas, but merely make Lovecraftian references.

I feel like I'm missing out. Re-animator is the only of the movies I've seen (love Combs though) and I never did catch the references in Hercules or
Bab5, but I absolutely adore Night Gallery. I really wish I could find prints of those paintings!
Interesting side note: instead of "paintings," I initially typed "panties."

Which is why I never could get a decent date in high school.
I'm from Milwaukee and I ought to know, it's Blatz, Blatz, Blatz, wherever you go!

I just noticed that Dean Stockwell, who played Wilbur Whatley in the first Dunwhich Horror is going to be in the next one, but as a different character. How
cool is that?

paintings
From what I can find there was a release of only 12 of the paintings from the show in poster format. Sadly, Pickmans Model isn't one of them as far as I can tell. They are all out of print collectors items now of course. NULLUS ANXIETAS |

There used to be a website that had some decent quality digital images of each painting. I didn't ask how they got them, but gleefully downloaded each one.
Of course that's on the computer with the fried hard drive...
